About us
Twenty six years, six and a half kilometres
Since 2000 the partners behind Futuro Recente have been developing and building between Portimão and Lagoa. Seven developments, all a few minutes from one another. The homes we handed over twenty years ago are a short walk from the ones we are building today, and the people living in them know where to find us.

How we work
Three things that do not change
One area, not a market
Alvor, Portimão and Ferragudo. We know the ground, the permits, the contractors and the neighbours. It shows in the result and it shows in the timelines.
From land to keys
We handle the subdivision, the design, the construction and the sale. When you buy from us you speak to the people who decide, not to a middleman who still has to go and ask.
We stay close by
We do not sell and disappear. The office is in Portimão, minutes from any of our sites, and it is still there after the deed is signed.
Who we are, on paper
The current projects are developed by Oportunidade Promissora Construções, formed in 2023 and owned by Futuro Recente and Optihabit. It is managed by Vasco Abreu and António Figueiredo.
